Established in 1868, Chorakuen is a traditional ryokan situated in the centre of the Tamatsukuri Onsen spa area. The property is known for its expansive, 33, 000-square-metre circuit-style Japanese garden. Guests can experience a variety of hot spring baths, including what is noted as Japan's largest open-air, mixed-gender bath.
