Fun abounds year-round in Galena, where you can find ample opportunities to golf, hike, ski, horseback ride, and float in a hot-air balloon. Choose Radisson, Galena, as your launching pad, and enjoy proximity to Galena's vibrant Main Street, which boasts over 125 unique boutiques, art galleries, and restaurants. We're also close to historic buildings like the Belvedere Mansion and Gardens and the former home of Ulysses S. Grant. After a day exploring Galena's downtown, grab a free weekday USA TODAY® or Telegraph Herald newspaper from the lobby and head to the indoor pool. In addition to an impressive 72-foot waterslide, the pool facilities include a 12-person hot tub and a kiddie pool with a miniature frog waterslide. Even more fun can be found in the hotel's game room, which boasts over 20 games geared toward all ages, including air hockey, pinball, and multiple arcade games.
